The friends behind the guide

We are a group of friends brought together by a love of food and Chongqing. We live in Chongqing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Hangzhou. Our day jobs include advertising design, freelance writing and network engineering. chongqing.guide is our shared travel guide.

Why Chongqing

Food is where our interest starts. A bowl of noodles or a hotpot meal can shape a day in the city as much as a famous sight. Chongqing also has riverside walks, hills and streets that make a short trip feel full of choices.

We want to help you put those choices together at your own pace, with time to eat, wander and enjoy the city.
